Study in primary or secondary schools in the UK
Age category 7 to 15
Students aged 7 and above can study at UK boarding schools. They need to have a good level of English to be able to communicate. Some schools offer English language courses before the start of the academic year to enhance the student’s language level. Students with no knowledge of the language are not eligible. The tuition fee for boarding schools is £38000 per year. The annual tuition fee is lower for those who want to stay with their relatives and do not need to stay at the school accommodation. The relative they are staying with is the legal guardian and will be fully responsible for the student’s well-being.
Applications must be submitted in April. Occasionally some schools accept new students during an academic year.

Study GCSE
Age category 14-16
In the UK students must sit GCSE exams by the end of secondary school. Having a GCSE grade is a must for anyone in the UK regardless of what they want to do afterwards. Even if someone does not wish to study at the university level, they must have completed their GCSE.
GCSE is a two-year course but some colleges offer a one-year intensive course too. The applicant must choose five subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, and History. The applicant is free to choose any subjects but Maths and English are compulsory. The applicant must be between 14 and 16 years old to be eligible to apply. Students above 16 have to take the ACADEMIC IELTS UKVI test as part of their application. The applicant’s ACADEMIC IELTS score must be at least 5.5. Some colleges may accept an IELTS UKVI score of 5.0. But students under 15 may not be required to provide an ACADEMIC IELTS UKVI certificate. English language support can be arranged on arrival if necessary. The applicant’s average score of your previous education must not be below 15.
The scoring system is between 0 and 9. The higher grades you get, the better chances the applicant will have in his/her future paths. Any grade below 4 is considered a ‘fail’. Grade 4 and above is a ‘pass’.
The applicant must be at least 14 years old to apply for GCSE courses.
Some schools offer accommodation as well. Please see the pricing on the table. The applicant can pay the tuition fee termly. But you must at least pay the fist term’s fee in advance to facilitate the visa process. It is better to pay the full year tuition fee as it might help your visa application. If the applicant were not granted the visa, the tuition fee would be refunded.
Applications can be submitted at any time since schools accept new students at any time during an academic year.
